This course is designed for international students who want to study at UWA but do not have the required level of English language proficiency. The program is also suitable for students with unconditional entry into UWA who want to improve their language proficiency and confidence before starting their university studies. The course helps students improve their English language skills to the level required by UWA. Students must have IELTS 5.5 with no band score below 5.0, Internet-based TOEFL 61, Computer-based TOEFL 173, Paper-based TOEFL 530, Cambridge First Certificate in English with a C grade, Pearson Test of English (Academic) overall score of 49 with no individual score below 42, CELT General English Upper-intermediate with a B+ grade (no individual grade below B-), CELT English for Academic Purposes with a B grade (no individual grade below B-), CELT Business English with a B grade (no individual grade below B-), Other equivalent entry points will be considered for the 20-week program. For the 10-week program they must have IELTS 6.0 with no band score below 6.0, Internet-based TOEFL 77, Computer-based TOEFL 210, Paper-based TOEFL 550, Cambridge First Certificate in English with a B grade, Pearson Test of English (Academic) overall score of 54 with no individual score below 54, CELT General English Pre-advanced with a B+ grade, CELT English for Academic Purposes with a B grade, CELT Business English with an A grade, Other equivalent entry points will be considered.
