Ringkasan program
This course provides students with the opportunity to extend their knowledge gained at a previous diploma level qualification in the creative arts, design or photography fields. It is an extension of the knowledge and skills already acquired in the chosen creative discipline and builds on these in line with industry practice. The course has three main components - business, theory and studio practice. Students are encouraged to set individual projects that reflect industry expectations. The individual projects may include a visual artist working towards an exhibition or a body of work, or an illustrator producing a series of gift cards and stationary items or illustrations for a children’s book. This course is unique in that students are encouraged to set their own projects based on their specific area of creative expertise. The study environment will reflect an artist studio practice to enable graduates to make a smooth transition into industry, freelance or self-employment. Students who successfully complete Advanced Diploma of Creative Product Development may continue onto further studies to complete a degree in their specialist fine art field. Graduates may make a smooth transition into industry, freelance creative product development or self-employment.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have successful completion of studies equivalent to Australian Year 12 education or relevant employment experience. They must have English language proficiency equivalent to academic IELTS overall band score of 5.5. Applicants in Australia are required to attend an interview and present a folio. Applicants from overseas are required to submit a folio.
