This program allows students to undertake university-level study without enrolling in a full degree program. Students may undertake this degree for a variety of reasons, including professional and personal development allowing them to choose subjects that suit their particular interests and career ambitions. This major in Media comprises six subjects drawn from internet advertising, media relations, digital media and society, computer game industry and policy, interactive experience, media and crime, film analysis 1: style and genre, computer game culture and audience, computer game form, narrative and style, introduction to international relations, the Australian media, ethical and legal strategies for the media but must include mass media.

Students must have successful completion of Year 12 or equivalent. They must also have IELTS score of 6.5 (no sub score less than 6.0), TOEFL score 570 (TWE 5), CBT 230, essay 5.0, iBT 89 (min) all sections 20, writing 22 for direct entry.
