Ringkasan program
This program is designed specifically to prepare students for work in a variety of challenging roles in the justice sector, such as law and policy, court and tribunal administration, and policy management in policing and corrections. It aims to provide a professional development program for justice professionals already working in justice agencies. The associate degree provides foundational skills needed to work in this sector and enable students to acquire more specific skills which can be integrated into their individual working environments. In particular, students will acquire interpersonal and teamwork skills, and the capacity to operative effectively in collaborative working environments. They will also acquire a solid foundation in the application of those skills in the context of the justice environment. Learning outcome from the course: Introduce students to the level of knowledge required to act at policy and administrative levels in the Justice sector, comprising court and tribunal administration, law enforcement and community and institutional corrections; and provide an opportunity for professional development for mature students already working in these fields. Successful completion of this course will give students credits towards the Bachelor of Social Science in Justice Studies. Careers that can be built on this qualification include: court/tribunal registrar or manager; case manager; counselor; community corrections; institutional corrections management; law enforcement and security management; legal policy research and management; youth and community work.

Students should have obtained Higher Secondary Certificate with a grade average of 76 in academic subjects; all India Senior School Certificate with an overall grade of seven for best four externally examined subjects equivalent to other countries. In addition they should have fulfilled English language requirements with minimum IELTS score of 6.5 (academic) or equivalent.
