This course is a highly mathematical, quantitative discipline and students in this area are often interested in adding the skills that a Science degree provides. Students must have completed an approved tertiary preparation course or alternative entry scheme; they will be assessed on the results of that scheme alone, unless they have undertaken subsequent study. International students whose native is not English should have the following English qualifications: Academic IELTS - an overall score of 6.5 with at least 6 in each component of the test; TOEFL (paper based test) - a score of 570 with TWE score of 4.5; TOEFL (computer based test) - a score of 230 with Essay score of 4.5 or TOEFL (internet based test) - a score of 90, with a minimum of 20 in all four sections.
