Ringkasan program
This course is designed for gifted and talented students; this elite program has a strong research focus. It provides the flexibility of a Bachelor of Science plus advanced units that are not available to other students. They will have direct contact with researchers and academics and their skills will be nurtured with individual attention in a small select advanced science group. In this degree they will develop their problem-solving skills, independent and critical thinking and be exposed to cutting-edge research. They will have the opportunity to undertake their own research project in third year and will gain practical experience in research laboratories and research groups. Software technology is about: building and using systems for productive and leisure activities, and understanding the principles that underlie such systems. Students will focus on algorithms, data structures and the principles of engineering quality software. It is suitable for students who wanting to develop computer skills to build and use systems, and understand the principles that underlie these systems. Career opportunities include communication systems analysis and analysis design; database administrator, end-user support and training, IT or management consultant, IT sales or marketing, Programmer, project leader, systems analyst, systems development manager, systems engineer.

Students should have completed the NSW HSC or equivalent. They should also have IELTS (Academic English only): Minimum 6.5 overall, with 6.0 in each section; TOEFL (paper based test): Minimum 570 overall, with 53 Listening, 52 Reading, 59 Structure/ Written Expression, 4.5 TWE;TOEFL (internet based test): Minimum 90 overall, with 20 Listening, 20 Reading, 22 Writing, 20 Speaking.
