This program prepares graduates for employment in environmental and natural resource management. Students will gain a strong background in the biological sciences, with an emphasis on flora, fauna and ecology, Knowledge of the principles and practices used in the management of natural ecosystems, an understanding of management responsibilities and procedures, an ability to communicate effectively – through various media and with people from a wide variety of backgrounds, an appreciation of the significance of soils and water and the ability to carry out basic analysis, the ability to critically analyse results of research and investigation, and to present clear and statistically sound data, the ability to prepare and present formal written reports and, an understanding of the range of computer applications relevant to natural resource management including remote sensing and geographic information systems.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students must have successful completion of Australian Year 12, or overseas equivalent, including two units of final year mathematics. Overall band score of 6.0, with no individual sub-score less than 5.5 and least 18 years of age.
