In this program, students develop an independent style of learning, combined with advanced knowledge in a specific research area. This academic background can give them an advantage in the employment market. An honours program is the main pathway to further postgraduate study, particularly research-focused study. Their studies are supervised by a Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences academic who has relevant research interests and expertise in their field of study. There is a thesis component. Career opportunities includes depending on the research area selected, academia, government/corporate positions in applied sociology, community and welfare services, journalism, multimedia design, policy development, public administration. This course specialise in creative advertising.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students must have completed a Bachelor of Arts, or a related degree from a recognised higher education institution, with at least eight courses in the area of study of their thesis topic. A good level of achievement in the intended area of study must be demonstrated. These are minimum requirements and do not guarantee entry. Importantly, enrolment is contingent upon the Faculty's capacity to provide appropriate supervision. They must have one of the following: IELTS Intermediate Overall IELTS score of 5.0 (with a minimum of 5.0 in each subtest) or Paper based TOEFL 500 TWE 3 (or equivalent) or Internet based TOEFL (IBT) 59. IELTS Upper Intermediate: Overall IELTS score of 5.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each subtest) or Paper based TOEFL 525 TWE 3.5 (or equivalent) or Internet based TOEFL (IBT) 69.
