This course is a flexible degree that enables students to tailor a study program to suit their interest in Human Services and equip them for a broad variety of career options. It is recognized by employers as providing a broad education that produces graduates with the communication, research, analytical and problem-solving skills that are essential in today’s workforce. It aims to provide them with practical experience in addition to theoretical knowledge. It is a professional field that deals with human social problems in a community environment and the implementation of the procedures to manage those problems. It involves assisting and supporting individuals and groups within a community to overcome difficulties and life changes. Areas of specialization include aged services, community housing work, child and family studies, disabilities studies, diversional therapy, mental health services, rehabilitation counsellings, youth services, and corrective services.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have completed Australian Year 11 and Year 12 or other country specific requirements equivalent to Australia. They must also satisfy the following English language requirements: IELTS score of 6.0 (no component lower than 5.5) or TOEFL (paper based) score of 550 (plus minimum Test of Written English score of 4.0) or TOEFL (internet based) score of 79 (minimum writing score of 19) or Pearson (PTE Academic) score of 57.
