Ringkasan program

This program provides analysis of the connections between political and policy processes, hegemony and influence. By focusing on contemporary issues and their backgrounds the study of politics helps students see these processes in a wider perspective. They will also be introduced to global politics and politics of the Asia-Pacific region, with which Australia's future is closely linked. By developing their skills in policy analysis, evaluation and communication, the study of politics will enhance their power to be effective in their professional life and as an active citizen. Graduates may find employment in a wide range of positions, including defense intelligence, media liaison, journalism, industrial relations, public administration, and community and not-for-profit organizations such as aid agencies, parliamentary politics and policy units.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students should have any one of the following requirements: English for Academic Purposes Advanced level certificate at the undergraduate level (EAP 5: UG-65 per cent ); or, Obtaining a minimum IELTS overall band of 6.0 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0; or, a TOEFL (Paper-based) minimum score of 550 (with Test of Written English (TWE) score of 5); or, a TOEFL (Computer-based) minimum score of 213 (with Written Writing score of 5); or, a TOEFL (Internet-based) minimum score of 80 with no band less than 20.
