This major in psychology comprises six subjects of the core psychology subjects drawn from the 15 foundation PSYC subjects listed: statistics and data analysis I, introduction to psychology: biology and personality, introduction to psychology: learning and social, statistics and data analysis II, sensation and perception, biological psychology, learning and behaviour, developmental psychology, social psychology, statistics and data analysis III, research methods in psychology, cognitive psychology, personality and individual differences, psychopathology, motivation and emotion. Double majors are available in this subject area. The Bachelor of Laws course equips students for a career in the legal profession, business, industry or government, both within Australia and overseas. Its combination of excellent teaching, small classes and extensive legal skills program provides an exciting learning experience that both challenges students academically and prepares them practically for a legal career. On completion, students will have the opportunity to take leading positions in the public and private sectors, such as solicitor in private practice, barrister, government lawyer, in-house counsel and academia. The degree can also be used to gain admission internationally.

Students must have successful completion of Year 12 or equivalent. They must also have proficiency in English with IELTS score of 6.5 (no sub score less than 6.0); TOEFL score 570 (TWE 5); (CBT 230, essay 5.0, iBT 89 (min) all sections 20, writing 22) for direct entry.
