This course is designed to meet the professional accreditation requirements of the Australian Institute of Building Surveyors. Graduates will develop an in-depth technical knowledge in building surveying and will be able to operate independently as a professional within this field. Its strong vocational and building discipline focus will assist graduates in meeting the academic requirements for membership of relevant professional bodies in the building sector. On successful completion of the 27 core subjects (ie a total of 192 credit points), students will achieve the Bachelor of Building Surveying. Students choosing to exit the program after successful completion of the core 19 subjects will be eligible for the award of the Bachelor of Applied Science (Built Environment), and will be ineligible to enrol to undertake the fourth year only of the Bachelor of Construction Management and Economics, Bachelor of Building Surveying or the Bachelor of Facilities Management. They will be eligible to complete a post graduate qualification in a relevant discipline. Graduates may find successful employment within the building industry in areas as diverse as Building Inspector, Private Certifier and Building Surveyor (NAF Level 1). Graduates will be eligible to undertake post graduate studies in a relevant discipline.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students should have a good record at Year 12/ Matriculation or the overseas equivalent. They must satisfy English language proficiency level of IELTS 6.0, TOEFL 237 (CB) or 60 (iBT), ISLPR 3, PTE Academic Score of 50 (no communicative skill score less than 50), and Cambridge English: Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) of 52 or equivalent.
