This four year program provides a joint qualification in business and psychology, with the possibility of proceeding to an Honours program in either business or psychology. The accredited programs prepare students for eligibility to pursue further study in the profession of psychology or a higher research degree. The Psychology program is one of their largest undergraduate programs. Students learn how psychological practice and theory are deeply rooted in scientific evidence and learn how that evidence is obtained through research. They will get to engage in simple research projects during a number of subjects studied throughout their degree. If they have an interest in psychology but do not necessarily want to become a psychologist, this degree will provide a useful understanding of psychological principles and training in psychology, for careers requiring an understanding of human behaviour. For those wishing to follow a pathway towards registration as a psychologist, or a research career in psychology, this accredited degree is the first step in that training. Students should have IELTS (Academic English only): Minimum score of 6.5 overall, with 6.0 in each section; TOEFL (paper based test): Minimum score of 570 overall, with 53 Listening, 52 Reading, 59 Structure/ Written Expression, 4.5 TWE; TOEFL (internet based test): Minimum score of 90 overall, with 20 Listening, 20 Reading, 22 Writing, 20 Speaking.
