This combined degree will allow students to pursue studies in the sciences while developing professional skills that will enhance their prospects in the labour market. This degree will appeal to students who wish to gain scientific skills as well as the management skills necessary to pursue careers in the private or public sector. They can pursue a career in one industry or a career that combines two areas. For example, in the pharmaceutical industry both scientific and business skills are useful. This combined program will give access to a variety of science-related and commerce-related careers. Majors in commerce include accounting, business information systems, commercial law, econometrics, economics, finance, industrial relations and human resource management, international business, management, marketing and operations management and decision sciences. Majors in science include agricultural chemistry, anatomy and histology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, biology, cell pathology, chemistry, computational science, computer science, environmental studies, financial mathematics and statistics, geography, geology and geophysics, history and philosophy of science, immunobiology, information systems, marine biology, marine geoscience, marine science, mathematics, medicinal chemistry, molecular biology and genetics, nanoscience and technology, neuroscience, pharmacology, physics, physiology, plant science, psychology, soil science, statistics.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have an acceptable secondary qualification from their high school studies (or at least one year of tertiary studies). They must satisfy IELTS score of 7.0 (min 6.0 in each band) or TOEFL minimum result of 600 overall including a minimum result of 4.5 in writing or IBT score of 100 (minimum 22 in reading, listening and speaking and 23 in writing).
