This dual degree program will meet the needs of students wanting an advanced program of study in mathematics or statistics, complemented with a strong, focused and highly regarded business course. As part of this program students will complete a major stream in both a selected area of mathematics or statistics, and an approved disciplinary stream within the Australian School of Business. In Commerce students can choose from the following majors: Accounting, Actuarial Studies, Business Economics, Business Law, Business Strategy and Economic Management, Finance, Financial Economics, Human Resource Management, Information Systems, International Business, Management, Marketing and Taxation. In Advanced Mathematics, students can choose from Applied Mathematics, Pure Mathematics, Quantitative Risk and Statistics majors. High achieving students may apply to undertake honours degree.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicants will be considered for admission to this program at UNSW on the basis of their performance in any of the following: Australian and New Zealand final secondary studies and/or, University or post-secondary or tertiary qualifications (eg, TER, TAFE Advanced Diploma), overseas qualifications considered equivalent to Australian Year 12 studies; alternative entry programs such as Access and UNSW Foundation Year. They must also satisfy the following English language requirements: IELTS overall score of 6.5 with a minimum score of 6.0 in each of the sub-tests of speaking, listening, reading and writing; TOEFL - Internet-based Test (iBT) overall score of 90 with a minimum score of 24 in writing; TOEFL - Paper-based Test (PBT) overall score of 577 with a minimum score of 5.0 in the Test of Written English (TWE); successful completion of the UNSW Institute of Languages University English Entry Course with a grade of C+ (grade point 7.0) and a minimum score of 20 in the writing component; overall score of 68 in Pearson Test of English academic version and successful completion of the ANU College Access Program with a minimum of 70 per cent overall.
