Ringkasan program
This program provides knowledge and training for candidates in research methods as well as experience in planning, performing and writing up research under the guidance of a supervisor. This year involves a combination of coursework and research toward the writing of a short thesis. It may be possible to complete either double or joint honours. Double honours involve completing all the honours work in two subject areas and thus normally takes an extra year. In joint honours, two subject areas that are more closely related to each other are studied concurrently, through a specially designed program of study within one year. The operations management and econometrics honours year is a specialist training program including coursework that it is designed to provide graduates with a high level of specialist knowledge in the analytical and research skills required to solve problems in operations management and econometrics practice and/or to prepare students for further studies in operations management and econometrics (e.g. PhD).

Students must have a completed pass degree with a minimum weighted average mark (WAM) of 65 per cent across all senior units of study taken, and a minimum of 70 per cent in units completed in the major relating to the intended honours year. Students are required to have a major in the field of study in which they intend to undertake their honours year. Disciplines may require a higher academic standard and/or require specified pre-honours units of study. They must satisfy IELTS score of 7.0 (min 6.0 in each band) or TOEFL minimum result of 600 overall including a minimum result of 4.5 in writing or IBT score of 100 (minimum 22 in reading, listening and speaking and 23 in writing).
