Ringkasan program
This degree focuses on the application of computer and computer-based systems to meet information needs. It aims to provide the greatest possible flexibility and the broadest possible range of options from technical computing to information and business related themes. The course has a flexible structure which enables students to tailor their studies to suit their individual needs. It allows students to opt for breadth in their studies by taking units across a range of aspects of IT, or to focus their studies by completing one or two majors according to their interests and skills. Students can change their choice of major during their degree and move between a major and the general version (no major) as they wish. Students can complete majors in applications development and networks or business systems. Major study areas for this course include Applications development and networks and Business Systems.

Students must have English (Year 12), any mathematics (Australian equivalent Year 11) qualification. VCE prerequisites include units 3 and 4 - a study score of at least 30 in English (ESL) or 25 in any other English and a minimum ATAR of 70. International Baccalaureate subject prerequisites include a score of at least 4 in English SL or 3 in English HL or 5 in English B SL or 4 in English B HL. They must have achieved the following English language proficiency test results: IELTS (minimum test score of 6.5 overall; no individual band less than 6.0); Paper-based TOEFL (minimum test score of 580; a Test of Written English (TWE) score of at least 4.5); Internet-based TOEFL (a score of at least 90 overall; a Writing score of at least 22; no score lower than 20 on the other sections of the test); Cambridge English CAE (A grade); Cambridge English CEP (C grade).
