Ringkasan program
This program allows specialisation in the students chosen instrument (guitar, bass, keyboards, voice or drums). Practical tuition is provided through individual lessons and group workshops. These classes are supported by ensemble classes which provide industry-relevant training in playing in bands. It offers learning in a music industry environment and engages students from the start of the course. Students can specialise in performance, music industry, professional studies and/or music education. Graduates work in the entertainment industry as performers, recording and mastering engineers, recording studio managers, music event promoters, music store/franchise owners, composing for television advertising, and in other music-related businesses. When combined with the Bachelor of Education (Secondary) graduates can also teach music at secondary level. When combined with the Bachelor of Laws graduates can pursue careers as solicitors and legal specialists in areas that relate to the music industry.

Students should have completed an educational qualification deemed to be at least equivalent to completion of year 12 in Australia and achieved the equivalent of the minimum entry grade for the course for which they have applied. They should have fulfilled the Universitys English language requirement: IELTS (academic) score of 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any band or TOEFL score of 550 with no less than 4.5 in the test of written English or TOEFL Internet-based with a minimum score or 79 and a minimum of 22 in writing and no less than 18 in other bands or equivalent.
