Ringkasan program
This course BCreativeArts (honours) degree develops core skills and knowledge in theory and research in the creative arts disciplines. The program is based on a combination of coursework and a research project in the chosen field of study. Its objective is to produce graduates with skills and knowledge specific to the courses they studied but also to produce graduates who communicate well and think critically and creatively. Graduates should be able to express themselves effectively, both orally and in writing; be able to work cooperatively in a team; and be able to demonstrate a depth of understanding in one or more fields of knowledge. It is the study of the objects considered to be art across a variety of cultures and times. Often students look at paintings, sculptures, modern works of art that can't really be called either of these, Aboriginal Art and the art of the Asia-Pacific region. The main aims of the Honours year are: To enable students with an adequate background in Art History to pursue further study in one specialist area in more depth than is possible with a pass degree To enhance students' capacity for independent research and to acquire research skills appropriate to their area of specialisation.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have completed Bachelor of Creative Arts with a Pass degree or equivalent and also with a GPA score of 5 (or higher amount set by the Head of School) in a relevant major or extended major or the relevant honours entry courses. They should also satisfy the English language requirements: IELTS (overall score of 6.5; writing score of 6); TOEFL - (Computer based score of 237; Essay writing score of 4.5); TOEFL - (Paper based score of 570; TWE (Test of written English) score of 5); TOEFL - (Internet Based (IBT) overall score of 90; writing score of 21).
