This course offers graduates of the Bachelor of Design in Architecture (C10004) the opportunity to pursue advanced work in subject areas related to architecture and prepares them for postgraduate research. It allows students to work at a higher level of academic study. It also allows study in a relevant area of student interest. Career options include positions in architecture, design, education, journalism, landscape architecture, urban design and research.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicants must have completed a recognised Australian bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline at an appropriate level. An appropriate first degree can include the UTS Bachelor of Design in Architecture (C10004). The following requirements also apply: applicants must have a credit average or better at level 2 of the Bachelor of Design in Architecture (or equivalent from another university) the feasibility of the proposed project must be demonstrated by a two–three page description of the thesis proposed including an account of the methods to be employed in completing the project applicants must be able to demonstrate an understanding of what is involved in undertaking the research for the project in the proposed area of study, and the availability of staff for supervision as indicated in a signed statement by a potential supervisor. Students must fulfill the following English language proficiency of academic IELTS score of: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0; or TOEFL: paper based score of: 575 overall with TWE score of 4.5, internet based score of: 90 overall with a writing score of 21; or DEEP Program (Completion of the Insearch Direct Entry English Program at C level) or PTE score of 64.
