Ringkasan program
This course is concerned with assessing and managing the effects of human activity on the natural and built environments. Environmental engineers may be involved in environmental impact assessment, water resources management, pollution control, waste management or the planning and design of engineering facilities to minimize their impact on the environment. It has a particular emphasis on water resources management and pollution control. Computer-based methods are used extensively in the program. Potential careers include Natural Resource Manager, Catchment Management, Civil Engineer, Seismologist, Harbour / Water Engineering, Hydrogeologist, Water Resources Engineer.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students should have completed SACE Stage 2 in Mathematical Studies, Physics plus one of Specialist Mathematics or Chemistry and they should have completed IB in either Mathematics (HL grade 3) and Physics (SL grade 4/HL grade 3); or, Chemistry (SL grade 4/HL grade 3), Physics (SL grade 4/HL grade 3) & Mathematics (SL grade 4/HL grade 3). Students must also have knowledge in SACE Stage 2 Chemistry. They should also satisfy the English language requirements such as: IELTS score of 6 (Reading score of 5.5, Listening score of 5.5, Speaking score of 6 and writing score of 6).
