Ringkasan program
This course has an emphasis on engineering problem solving and design and analysis using modern, computer-based methods. Civil and Structural engineers create and maintain much of the physical infrastructure of society while managing and conserving the natural resources. They are responsible for the planning, design and construction of bridges, buildings, structures, roads, water supply, dams, pipelines, sewerage treatment facilities, drainage, pollution control equipment, and coastal management facilities. Potential careers include Catchment Management, Civil Engineer, Geotechnical Engineer, Harbour / Water Engineering, Hydrogeologist, Water Resources Engineer.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students should have completed SACE Stage 2 in Mathematical Studies, Physics plus one of Specialist Mathematics or Chemistry and they should have completed IB in either Mathematics (HL grade 3) and Physics (SL grade 4/HL grade 3); or, Chemistry (SL grade 4/HL grade 3), Physics (SL grade 4/HL grade 3) and Mathematics (SL grade 4/HL grade 3). Students must also have knowledge in SACE Stage 2 Chemistry. They should also satisfy the English language requirements such as: IELTS score of 6 (Reading score of 5.5, Listening score of 5.5, Speaking score of 6 and writing score of 6).
