Ringkasan program
In this course students will be introduced to basic analysis techniques in each of the four streams in civil engineering: including geotechnical, transport and traffic, water and structural engineering. From level three core units extend studies in engineering design and analysis, with increasingly complex tasks and a focus on tackling real engineering problems. All four streams are again represented with the addition of management units. In level four students undertake a thesis project, civil engineering practice, electives in their chosen stream and two electives that can be taken from anywhere in the university.

Students must have academic Year 12, International Baccalaureate or equivalent academic qualification. VCE prerequisites units 3 and 4 - a study score of at least 30 in English (ESL) or 25 in any other English and a study score of at least 25 in mathematical methods (either) and in one of chemistry or physics. International Baccalaureate subject prerequisites include a score of at least 4 in English SL or 3 in English HL or 5 in English B SL or 4 in English B HL, a score of at least 4 in mathematics SL or 4 in further mathematics SL or 3 in mathematics HL and a score of at least 4 in chemistry SL or 3 in chemistry HL or 4 in physics SL or 3 in physics HL. They must have achieved the following English language proficiency test results: IELTS (minimum test score of 6.5 overall; no individual band less than 6.0); Paper-based TOEFL (minimum test score of 580; a Test of Written English (TWE) score of at least 4.5); Internet-based TOEFL (a score of at least 90 overall; a Writing score of at least 22; no score lower than 20 on the other sections of the test); Cambridge English CAE (A grade); Cambridge English CEP (C grade).
