This course offers all the benefits of the Bachelor of Engineering, combined with substantial industrial experience. Students in this program undergo industrial training for six months in the third year of the program. Mentoring by the industry partner is a key aspect of this program, which ensures graduates are job ready for a particular industry partner. The academic components of this course provide graduates with the technical skills for a career in industry or research, as well as entry into higher level study. Graduates develop self-direction, leadership, communication and people skills, providing the opportunity to succeed in their choice of career. Emphasis is placed on learning through project work and students are exposed to professional engineering practice through guest lectures by practising engineers, site visits and work experience. Specialisations are available in civil engineering, electrical and electronics engineering and mechanical engineering, offering career opportunities in design and construction, buildings and town planning, new and sustainable forms of energy, digital control, computer control of machines, water supply and treatment, environmental protection, management, marketing and technical advice.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Applicants must have completed recognised upper secondary or equivalent Year 12 studies to the required standard. They should also demonstrate their English language proficiency with an overall minimum TOEFL score of 550 and score of 4.5 in the Test of Written English (TWE), valid for two years, from the date of the test to the date of commencement at CDU; or with a minimum CBT score of 213 and a minimum score of 4.5 in the Essay Rating; or with a minimum IBT score of 79 and a minimum score of 20 in writing; or an overall IELTS of 6.0, writing band 6.0, no band less than 5.5.
