This degree combines a strong scientific education with multidisciplinary studies in environmental and social sciences, with aspects of economics and law. It introduces environmental issues, provides knowledge of the science and technology associated with environmental science and its applications and explores relevant legal, political, ethical and economic aspects. Majors include: Biology, Chemistry, Climate Science, Environmental Earth Science, Environmental Geology, Environmental Management and Spatial Information Science (SIS). One of the distinguishing characteristics of the degree is the combination of breadth, flexibility and variety of specialisations offered. They have the flexibility to tailor a program to suit their individual needs and interests. The study program emphasises decision-making skills relating to resource management and environmental management, and is relevant to a wide range of planning activities in the environmental field. Field skills are developed in a range of natural resource environments complemented by laboratory training and professional exposure. Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have prior knowledge of Biology, Geography, Earth and Environmental Science or equivalent. Introductory units and bridging courses are available for students without the recommended prior knowledge. Students should have IELTS (Academic English only): Minimum score of 6.5 overall, with 6.0 in each section; TOEFL (paper based test): Minimum score of 570 overall, with 53 Listening, 52 Reading, 59 Structure/ Written Expression, 4.5 TWE; TOEFL (internet based test): Minimum score of 90 overall, with 20 Listening, 20 Reading, 22 Writing, 20 Speaking.
