Ringkasan program
This program integrates fisheries biology, stock management, habitat protection, and aquaculture studies with environmental management. Students focus on developing strategies to maintain a sustainable fishery/aquaculture enterprise. It aims to produce graduates who can manage the environment for future generations. The course focuses on building students scientific knowledge and practical skills in land, water, and flora and fauna conservation. Students can also elect to complete an internship working with government and industry partners. Graduates may gain employment in an ever-expanding range of areas including national parks and protected area management, environmental protection, environmental impact assessment and monitoring, environmental education and interpretation, sustainable forestry, fisheries management, aquaculture, ecotourism, and land/river/coast care programs. The private sector and all tiers of government employ increasing numbers of their graduates as environmental managers. As a combined degree with education - Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Education (Secondary) - career opportunities include secondary teacher of science and an additional teaching subject such as English, mathematics, geography or modern history. As a double degree with Law - Bachelor of Environmental Science, Bachelor of Laws - career opportunities include solicitor and legal specialist in areas of law specific to the environment such as state and federal resource management, planning regulations and local government.

Students should have completed an educational qualification deemed to be at least equivalent to completion of year 12 in Australia and achieved the equivalent of the minimum entry grade for the course for which they have applied. They should have fulfilled the Universitys English language requirement: IELTS (academic) score of 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any band or TOEFL score of 550 with no less than 4.5 in the test of written English or TOEFL Internet-based with a minimum score or 79 and a minimum of 22 in writing and no less than 18 in other bands or equivalent.
