Ringkasan program
This course aims to produce graduates with a strong academic base in the discipline of exercise and health science, including knowledge and skills in the areas of personal development, health, physical education, outdoor recreation and sport, and with the capacity to apply knowledge and skills in an ethical, fair and respectful manner. The course is designed to enable graduates to pursue a teaching career in Personal Development, Health and Physical Education or employment in Outdoor Recreation or Sport. Depending upon the subjects chosen and the state in which they wish to gain registration (Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria), students will be eligible to teach a combination of Personal Development, Health and Physical Education as well as a second teaching method in Health, Outdoor Recreation or another discipline such as Mathematics or English. Graduates can teach personal development, health and physical education in secondary schools (after completing graduate diploma), work as a fitness assessor or trainer, in health promotion, or as a health and fitness consultant in the public or corporate sector. Graduates may progress to higher degree studies in education. Graduates may also progress to further studies in health promotion, sports administration, sports event management, corporate health and wellness, and occupational health.
