This course is an exciting new field which demands a diverse knowledge set required in managing modern technology driven facilities, as well as the people and space used within them. Students enter this fourth year specialisation following successful completion of the Bachelor of Applied Science (Built Environment), or an equivalent degree. On completion of this degree students may seek membership of relevant professional bodies and/or institutions such as the Facility Management Association of Australia (FMAA). On successful completion of the 27 core subjects (i.e. a total of 192 credit points), students will achieve the Bachelor of Facilities Management. Students choosing to exit the program after successful completion of the core 19 subjects will be eligible for the award of the Bachelor of Applied Science (Built Environment) and will be ineligible to enrol to undertake the fourth year only of the Bachelor of Construction Management and Economics, Bachelor of Building Surveying or the Bachelor of Facilities Management. They will be eligible to complete a post graduate qualification in a relevant discipline. Students may also continue their academic development by undertaking postgraduate or research studies. Graduates may find successful employment in areas as diverse as facilities management, corporate asset management and facilities management consultation. Graduates will be eligible to undertake post graduate studies in a relevant discipline.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students should have a good record at Year 12/ Matriculation or the overseas equivalent. They must satisfy English language proficiency level of IELTS 6.0, ISLPR 3, TOEFL 237 (CB) or 60 (iBT), PTE Academic Score of 50 (no communicative skill score less than 50), Cambridge English: Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) of 47 or equivalent.
