This course aims to produce graduates with the capabilities required and increasingly expected by the industry as it moves forward in the 21st century. The course will provide students with a depth of patterning and design knowledge and skills, both manually and electronically, through the use of computer aided design technology. This will provide graduates with a strong skill set with which to enter and add value to textiles clothing and footwear companies, both domestically and internationally. Graduates are also equipped with the business and communication skills necessary to convey their creative ideas to others and develop them into commercial products. Graduates will be eligible to complete a post graduate qualification in a relevant discipline. Career opportunities include manual pattern maker and grader; cad pattern maker and grader; designer and assistant designer; apparel production manager; garment technician and fit technologist; small (design) business manager; offshore production manager; and independent fashion consultant.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students must have passed at Year 12 or the overseas equivalent; and English language proficiency of IELTS 6.0 (Academic), ISLPR 3, TOEFL 237 (CB) or 60 (iBT), PTE Academic Score of 50 (no communicative skill score less than 50), Cambridge English: Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) of 52 or equivalent.
