This course develops specific skills in health administration, health policy and health services management, as well as an understanding of the issues involved in social, economic and political areas in developing nations. Students acquire the knowledge and skills relevant to the planning and delivery of health services in Third-World countries. Major areas of study include: anthropology, development studies, ergonomics, safety and health, health science, history, politics, public health, physiology and anatomy, health promotion, sociology, rehabilitation studies. On completion, graduates are likely to find employment in government agencies, private enterprises involving overseas trade, and non-government organisations involved in overseas aid.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have completed one of Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Year 12 Mathematics. They must have completed Australian year 12 or equivalent to other countries. They must also satisfy one of the following English language requirements: IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with no individual band score less than 6.0 or TOEFL Paper-based Test: a minimum score of 550 with a score of 5 or better in the Test of Written English or TOEFL Computer-based Test: a minimum score of 213 with a score of 5 in essay writing or TOEFL Internet-based Test: a minimum score of 80 with no individual score less than 20 or satisfactory completion of an English language subject at Year 12 or equivalent level which have been completed in the last two years and at an academic level acceptable to the University or approved equivalent.
