Ringkasan program
This program prepares graduates to work in corporate roles in health, in the professions that are crucial in keeping the health system running, but do not involve the direct treatment of patients. They include systems analysts, communications specialists, liaison officers as well as project and case managers, to name a few. Professions such as these are key drivers in the areas of health education, research, policy, management and health advocacy. The Bachelor of Health Sciences examines the political, social, behavioural, environmental, economic and international contexts of health and is modeled to meet the needs of the modern health care sector both in Australia and abroad. It will equip students with breadth and depth in the understanding and challenge the students to critically analyse the current state of affairs in health, as well as promote finding new and creative solutions to the big issues facing the health, disability and rehabilitation sector in Australia and internationally. Majors include anatomy and histology, health sciences, hearing and speech, industrial relations and human resource management, management, marketing, movement science, psychology, sociology.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have an acceptable secondary qualification from their high school studies (or at least one year of tertiary studies). They must satisfy IELTS minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 7.0 in each band or TOEFL minimum result of 600 overall including a minimum result of 5.0 in writing or IBT minimum result of 100 overall including a minimum result of 24 in reading, listening and speaking and 25 in writing.
