This course provides an opportunity to obtain two degrees of professional importance to the public sector, community service, business and law practice. The Law courses satisfy the requirements for the award of the professional LLB degree. It satisfies a growing demand in Australia and globally for graduates who are highly skilled, well informed and professionally equipped to meet the challenges of work in a rapidly changing global environment. It program examines the interactions of nations, economies, institutions, peoples, cultures, technologies and ideas against a background of increasing international integration and changing modernity. The aim is to satisfy a growing demand, in Australia and abroad, for graduates who are highly skilled, well informed and professionally equipped to meet the challenges of work in a rapidly changing global environment; to give students a thorough preparation for further study and employment in areas vital to Australia’s increasing participation in the international arena; to examine and develop a better understanding of the interactions of nations, economies, institutions, peoples, cultures, technologies and ideas against a background of increasing international integration and changing modernity; to promote competence in a major language or languages relevant and useful for the global economy in which all live in (viz. French, German, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Indonesian) and to provide students with the invaluable experience of other cultures, languages and peoples - experience greatly valued by employers internationally through the completion of a one-year Overseas Study Program. The following are Graduate Attributes: research, inquiry and analytic abilities; personal and intellectual autonomy; ethical, social and professional understanding; communication skills; information literacy; professional and intellectual development and global outlook. The following are the area of specialisation: Asian Studies; Chinese Studies; Development Studies; European Studies; French studies; German Studies; Globalisation Studies; Hispanic Studies; International Business; International Relations; International Studies; Japanese Studies; Korean Studies and Law.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students enrolled in combined law degrees (with exception to Jurisprudence/Law) are not required to complete general education courses. They must also satisfy the following English language requirements: IELTS overall score of 6.5 with a minimum score of 6.0 in each of the sub-tests of speaking, listening, reading and writing; TOEFL - Internet-based Test (iBT) overall score of 90 with a minimum score of 24 in writing; TOEFL - Paper-based Test (PBT) overall score of 577 with a minimum score of 5.0 in the Test of Written English (TWE); successful completion of the UNSW Institute of Languages University English Entry Course with a grade of C+ (grade point 7.0) and a minimum score of 20 in the writing component; overall score of 68 in Pearson Test of English academic version and successful completion of the ANU College Access Program with a minimum of 70 per cent overall.
