This is a vocationally oriented program taught by La Trobe's highly regarded Journalism program. It is designed to equip students with the skills they need for a career across a range of platforms in the increasingly complex field of sports media . The curriculum combines research and analysis with practical communication and production skills. Major areas of study include: journalism, media studies and sport management. On completion, graduates are likely to find roles in the print media, radio, television, and online journalism. They should also have the potential to develop careers in public relations and professional communications for sport companies and sporting organisations, developing and managing publications for sport organisations, and in sport media management roles for individuals and teams.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have completed Australian year 12 or equivalent to other countries. They must also satisfy one of the following English language requirements: IELTS (Academic) minimum overall band score of 6.5 with no individual band score less than 6.0 or TOEFL Computer-based Test: a minimum score of 233 with a score of 5 in essay writing or TOEFL Paper-based Test: a minimum score of 575 with a score of 5 or more in the Test of Written English or TOEFL Internet-based Test: a minimum score of 88 with no individual score less than 22 or approved equivalent.
