This course is specifically designed for graduates, and provides an accredited professional qualification in law with a global and justice perspective. It provides an innovative legal education that combines technical excellence with the insights and methods needed to appreciate the social and economic context of law. The course includes the subjects required for admission to legal practice (often referred to as the 'Priestley 11') as well as a broad range of electives, many with a practical skills component. On completion, graduates are likely to find roles within the legal profession, politics, business or commerce, government service, public administration, education, community legal services and public interest advocacy groups. Although many graduates seek a career as a legal practitioner (as a solicitor or barrister), other opportunities may include roles as a registrar, law clerk or legal assistant, legal executive, judges' associate or law librarian.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students must successful completion of an Australian Bachelor's degree or approved international equivalent is required for the graduate entry program. They must also satisfy one of the following English language requirements: IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with no individual band score less than 6.0 or TOEFL Paper-based Test: a minimum score of 550 with a score of 5 or better in the Test of Written English or TOEFL Computer-based Test: a minimum score of 213 with a score of 5 in essay writing or TOEFL Internet-based Test: a minimum score of 80 with no individual score less than 20 or satisfactory completion of an English language subject at Year 12 or equivalent level which have been completed in the last two years and at an academic level acceptable to the University or approved equivalent.
