Uraian Tempat

This campus dates back to 1895 with the establishment of the Bathurst Experiment Farm. The Bathurst Teachers' College was established on the site of the Bathurst Experiment Farm. The first students commenced their training on 12 March 1951, although the College was not officially opened until 9 November 1951. The Campus has excellent facilities including: computerised lecture theatres; networked library and 24-hour Learning Commons; wireless internet connection in hotspot locations; sporting and recreational facilities, with a state-of-the-art gymnasium; new biochemistry laboratory; state-of-the-art technical, exercise and sports science and nursing laboratories industry standard media centre with broadcasting by Radio Station 2MCE-FM; television studios and editing suites; and post office and mini-market.

The University offers five residences located on campus, Mitchell, Truskett and Gordon houses, self-catered residences located 1.7km from the University, Hargraves self-catered residence located a five-minute walk from the campus. On campus accommodation at Bathurst offers three different packages of stay for the year: Package One: session only accommodation (students are not required to pay accommodation fees during holiday periods); Package Two: access to their room from the start of the academic year until the end of the exam period (from the beginning of March to the end of October); Package Three: access to their room from the start of the academic year through to Thursday of Orientation in February the following year (from the beginning of March to Thursday of February 2012).

Charles Sturt University in Albury-Wodonga is an environmentally friendly 90 hectare 'greenfields' campus with an environmentally friendly design and operation and is rapidly changing as academic office, teaching laboratories and student facilities are built to harmonise with the 'green' campus. CSU residences at Albury-Wodonga include: Cottages - single storey eight bedroom houses with common kitchen, lounge, dining and bathroom; New residences - double storey 20 bedroom houses with common kitchen, lounge, dining and bathroom.

Charles Sturt University in Dubbo provides on campus accommodation in the form of self catered cottages. Each cottage has 6-8 fully furnished single study bedroom, a common room with TV, kitchen (with food cupboards, toaster and kettle) and two bathrooms. Bedrooms are equipped with a private telephone and internet access. Each cottage has air conditioning and heating.

This campus has two residential campuses. Main Campus is located on the University grounds, approximately 10 kilometres north of the city of Wagga Wagga. The main campus has a variety of accommodation available on a catered, semi catered and self catered basis. South Campus, is located in the city of Wagga Wagga, and is a residential campus only. South Campus accommodation is available on a self catered basis and is accessible by the University Bus Service.
