Ringkasan program
This course develops problem-solving and communication skills with studies in food, nutrition and dietetics, basic and applied sciences and social sciences and professional practice. Their courses combine theoretical, scientific knowledge with practical learning, to ensure that they will be prepared to enter a successful career. Nutrition and dietetics is offered at the Newcastle campus at Callaghan over four years, full-time study, which includes over 1,000 hours of professional practice experience and problem-based learning. They will study: food, nutrition and dietetics, basic and applied science, social sciences. They will also have the chance to study electives according to their area of interest, such as sports nutrition or paediatrics. An embedded Honours program is available in the fourth year of study for students achieving a sufficiently high grade point average in the first three years of the degree.

Students should have a satisfactory audition/ interview is a requirement of admission together with an acceptable level of attainment in year 12 or equivalent. Students must satisfy any one of the following English proficiency requirements whose first language is not English: IELTS an overall band score of 7.0 with no band less than 7.0 , ELICOS Exam Higher Level Pass 2 (HP2) in EAP exam; TOEFL paper based test result of 615 minimum score of 4.5 in TWE or internet result of 103 and min 25 in writing, PTE (Academic) score of 73 with no subtest less than 65, CULT score of 75; Overall OET with grades A or B only in each of the four components (the writing and speaking components must be profession specific).
