Ringkasan program
This course aims to prepare students for a career as generalist primary or secondary teachers with specialist areas (methods) in Student Welfare and either English or Mathematics. In addition to school leavers, it may appeal to mature-age applicants (aged 21+) who have working backgrounds in social work, youth welfare or educational environments. On completion, graduates are suitably qualified to seek student wellbeing teaching roles in disadvantaged schools seeking increased participation and retention rates. They may also be employed in outreach and community education facilities where educational expertise is required including programs for disengaged youth.

Students must have completed Australian year 12 or equivalent to other countries. They must also satisfy one of the following English language requirements: IELTS Academic score of 7.0 with no individual band score less than 7.0 or TOEFL Computer-based Test: a minimum score of 250 with a score of 6 in essay writing or TOEFL Paper-based Test: a minimum score of 600 with a score of 6 or more in the Test of Written English or TOEFL Internet-based Test: a minimum score of 96 with no individual score less than 24 or approved equivalent.
