Ringkasan program
This program offers a range of courses that provide a well-rounded foundation in the scientific disciplines and prepares students for more advanced study. In the following four semesters they will complete at least one of the Bachelor of Science majors, depending on their chosen specialization. They will select one course per semester for advanced study and, under the guidance of an academic staff member, undertake further work in that area. They will be extremely well prepared for a career in their chosen specialization, and valuable to employers in almost any realm of business, industry and government as well as the more typical areas of science graduate employment such as AusAID, Departments of Education and Science, Environment, Primary Industries, Natural Resources, Health, Defence, CSIRO, Patents Offices and the Bureau of Meteorology. Areas of possible employment include hospitals and medical research institutes, consultancies, parks and fisheries management, agriculture and horticulture, technical sales, analytical labs, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, the food and beverage industry electricity companies, and oil and mineral exploration. The Honors program also provides them with high level research and problem solving skills and a pathway to PhD studies.

Students should have completed a senior secondary school qualification regarded as comparable to an Australian Year 12 award. International students whose native is not English should have the following requirements: a minimum overall band score of 6.0 on IELTS (Academic) with no sub-score of less than 5.5; a minimum score of 550 on TOEFL; an internet-based (iBT) TOEFL score of 79 (no score less than 19); no score less than three in each skill of the ISLPR (conducted by GELI or ISLPR Language Services only); a minimum grade of C on the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE); a minimum grade of C on the Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE).
