This course is a broad and flexible degree that gives students a deeper understanding of scientific principles while focusing on a key area of interest through their choice of major. The Science majors includes: Aquaculture; Biochemistry/Molecular Biology; Chemistry; Ecology and Conservation; Environmental and Marine Geosciences; Environmental Science; Genetics and Genomics; Geography; Geology; Hydrology and Water Resources; Marine Biology Advanced; Marine Biology; Mathematics; Microbiology; Natural Resource Management; Pharmacology; Physics; Physiology and Pharmacology; Physiology; Plant Science; Zoology. Single and double majors are available after their first year. Law program provides students with an accredited qualification satisfying the academic requirements for admission to practice law. Students will be well prepared to begin their career practising law in private practice, government, business or in the community sectors at a local, state, national or international level. This course is an approved qualification for admission to practice law in Queensland. Students wishing to practice should obtain further information from the Barristers’ and Solicitors’ Admission Boards.

Students must have completed Australian Year 11 and Year 12 or other country specific requirements equivalent to Australia. They must also satisfy the following English language requirements: IELTS score of 6.5 (no component lower than 6.0) or TOEFL (paper based) score of 570 (plus minimum Test of Written English score of 4.5) or TOEFL (internet based) score of 90 (minimum writing score of 21) or Pearson (PTE Academic) score of 64.
