Ringkasan program
This program is the pathway to rewarding professional and research careers in science. Students can choose specific majors or study a general mix of science, depending on their career goal, whether that is in the biological, clinical, chemical and physical, environmental or mathematical sciences. Off-campus industry internships provide employment-relevant experience and they also have the opportunity to undertake a research project in their final year. Students can be valuable in almost any realm of business, industry and government, as well as more typical areas for science graduates including AusAID, Departments of Education and Science, Environment, Primary Industries, Natural Resources, Health, Defence, CSIRO, Patents Offices and the Bureau of Meteorology. They could work in hospitals and medical research institutes or in private sector activities such as consultancy, policy analysis and development. Options are broad and include parks and fisheries management, agriculture and horticulture, technical sales, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, food and beverage industries, electricity companies, and oil and mineral exploration. As a graduate, they may also be eligible to apply for entry to a graduate entry teacher preparation program. Students may also choose to undertake a fourth year research honors degree that can lead to a PhD.

Students should have completed a senior secondary school qualification regarded as comparable to an Australian Year 12 award. International students whose native is not English should have the following requirements: a minimum overall band score of 6.0 on IELTS (Academic) with no sub-score of less than 5.5; a minimum score of 550 on TOEFL; an internet-based (iBT) TOEFL score of 79 (no score less than 19); no score less than three in each skill of the ISLPR (conducted by GELI or ISLPR Language Services only); a minimum grade of C on the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE); a minimum grade of C on the Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE).
