In this program students develop an independent style of learning, combined with advanced knowledge in a specific research area. This academic background can give them an advantage in the employment market. An honours program is the main pathway to further postgraduate study, particularly research-focused study. Career opportunities include depending on the research area selected, academia, government/corporate positions in research, waste and pollution control, medical marketing, environmental education and health, sport and exercise research, biotechnology, environmental protection, community health. This course specialise in Sustainability.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students must have completed a Bachelor of Science, or a related degree from a recognised higher education institution, with at least eight courses in the area of study that will form their thesis topic. A good level of achievement in the intended area of study must be demonstrated. These are minimum requirements and do not guarantee entry. Students must have completed Australian Year 12 with good grades and must have prior knowledge in English and Maths. Students must satisfy any one of the following English language requirements: IELTS (Academic) score of at least 6.0, with a minimum of 5.5 in all subtests; a TOEFL score (paper-based test) of at least 550, with essay score of 4; TOEFL score (internet-based test) of at least 76, with a minimum writing score 18 or successful completion of Direct Entry English Pathway, with a minimum grade of 65 percent.
