Ringkasan program
This course covers the subjects including mathematical techniques; mathematics for scientists and engineers; mathematical methods and differential equations; introduction to programming; environmental and biological modelling; applied complex variable theory; multivariate statistical methods. On completion, students can gain employment opportunities in fields including applied research - operations, econometrics, biometrics, market research and more; data heavy fields - oceanography, systems analysis, meteorology, engineering and finance; mathematics teaching - help drive future generations of leading mathematicians; it disciplines - computer systems, software engineering and information technology. Students can complete the first year in Cairns campus. They can start this course in June in Townsville by studying ‘Mathematical Foundations’ offered in Block Mode.
