Ringkasan program
This course aims to provide students with a grounding across the major disciplines of science as well as in-depth training in at least one specialised area. Graduates from the Bachelor of Science will have skills necessary for employment in a range of scientific and non-scientific fields including; health and pharmaceutical science, banking and finance, environmental consulting, wine and food industries and research. Opportunities exist in organisations including state and local government, local and global research and development corporations, education and the health sector.

Students must have academic Year 12, International Baccalaureate or equivalent academic qualification. VCE prerequisites include units 3 and 4 - one of biology, chemistry, mathematical methods (either), physics, geography, psychology or specialist mathematics, and a study score of at least 30 in English (ESL) or 25 in any other English. International Baccalaureate subject prerequisites include one of biology (any), chemistry (any), geography (any), mathematics SL, further mathematics SL, mathematics HL, physics (any) or psychology (any), and a score of at least 4 in English SL or 3 in English HL or 5 in English B SL or 4 in English B HL. They must have achieved the following English language proficiency test results: IELTS (minimum test score of 6.5 overall; no individual band less than 6.0); Paper-based TOEFL (minimum test score of 580; a Test of Written English (TWE) score of at least 4.5); Internet-based TOEFL (a score of at least 90 overall; a Writing score of at least 22; no score lower than 20 on the other sections of the test); Cambridge English CAE (A grade); Cambridge English CEP (C grade).
