Ringkasan program
This degree aims to provide students with skills in undertaking social research, particularly in an applied policy setting. These include written communication skills with particular emphasis on reports, submissions, position papers and proposals; the ability to undertake research and data analysis, both quantitative and qualitative; analysis and critical evaluation of research, arguments and policies; and the use of computers in social research and information processing. This course specialise in Economics.

Applicants need to have a qualification considered to be equivalent to Year 12 (completion of High School) in Australia. They should also satisfy the following English Language requirements: IELTS (Academic): 6.5 overall with a minimum score of 6.0 in each of the sub-tests of speaking, listening, reading and writing; TOEFL (IBT): 90 overall with a minimum score of 24 in writing; TOEFL (PBT): 577 overall with a minimum score of 5.0 in the Test of Written English (TWE); University English Entry Course (UEEC): successful completion of the UEEC with a grade of C+ (grade point 7.0) and a minimum score of 20 in the writing component; PTE (Academic) - Pearson Test of English academic version: 68 overall - not recognised for School of Education programs; successful completion of the ANU College Access Program with a minimum of 70 per cent overall.
