Ringkasan program
This course gives students the skills to provide care and support to elderly people living in aged care residential settings or in the community. The course focuses on the physical, social and emotional care of the older person. It also includes training in team work, occupational health and safety and administrative skills. This course is a combination of classroom based sessions and practical work, including a three week work experience placement. Pathways to further study include Certificate IV in Disability Work at the Tasmanian Polytechnic. This is a nationally recognized course that allows the student to be a care provider within a residential setting and within the community.
