Ringkasan program
In this course students will learn how to care and support elderly people in low and high care aged facilities. They will learn how to communicate with clients and provide physical and sociological support along with how to treat people with dementia, provide personal care for clients, and work with culturally diverse clients and co-workers. They will also learn how to comply with information requirements in aged and community care sectors and apply basic first aid. This course is delivered with the Certificate III in Home and Community Care to give you a dual qualification on successful completion. It may provide them with aged care employment opportunities in local government, community organizations and aged care facilities. They will have the opportunity for direct entry into the Diploma in Nursing (Enrolled Division 2 Nursing).
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students should have Australian Year 12 or equivalent with a pass, relevant senior employment experience in industry will be considered. They must also satisfy English language requirements IELTS overall score of 6.0 (Academic) and TOEFL score of 550 for paper examination; 213 for computer based and 79 for Internet based.
