Charles Darwin University's Casuarina campus, in the northern suburbs of Darwin, is located about 12 km from the city centre. It is set in 56 hectares of parkland, near an unspoilt beach and on a major bus route. The campus has excellent facilities including an extensive library with state of the art learning precinct, modern research facilities, on-campus accommodation, childcare, several cafes, post office, bookshop, bus shuttle, ovals, bars, gym, and basketball court.

Accommodation is provided at North Flinders International House, close to Charles Darwin University's main campus in Casuarina, Darwin. North Flinders International House is part of a network of International Houses in Australia, North America, Asia and Europe. Set in lush tropical gardens, it provides accommodation for local and overseas students. The residence is a 15 minute walk away from supermarkets and a variety of specialty shops and food outlets, and close to Casuarina beach.

Charles Darwin University's Alice Springs campus is a major educational hub catering for students in the town and in Central Australia’s remote communities. VET in schools is provided to Alice Springs’ five high schools and many secondary schools in remote communities. The dual-sector campus provides higher education, research and vocational studies in a modern and well-resourced environment on site and is the base for extensive training for other communities in the Northern Territory. The campus includes a modern 85-seat lecture theatre, specialist IT classrooms, a clinical training laboratory for nursing and a science laboratory for Higher Education. The vocational training facilities have been upgraded recently. It is also founded on a strong research culture in areas of Indigenous engagement, health and economics and the environment. The campus services regional communities from northern South Australia through to the Barkly Tablelands with CDU's remote link playing an important support role.

Alice Springs Student Accommodation (ASSA) provides the perfect transition into university life. Featuring communal areas across two houses, the campus boasts a community environment to ensure you feel at home. Inside the houses there are eight twin-share rooms and one disabled room. Each twin room contains two single beds, two built in desks, wardrobes, reverse cycle air-conditioning, ensuite, one bar fridge, and other basic amenities. Other campus features include laundry facilities, cafeteria, theatre and internet access.
