Ringkasan program
In this course, students will acquire the skills required to work in a beauty salon. They will learn about skin and body treatments, manicures and pedicare, massage treatments and cosmetics. They will also learn about how a beauty salon runs, how to improve communication and key competencies and about ethics and codes of professional behaviour. People considering enrolment in beauty courses need to be aware that skills development for clinical work will require students to practise on each other and that industry dress codes will apply. This will necessarily involve touch but will always be practised and applied in accordance with industry codes of practice and ethics. Details will be provided to intending students during pre-enrolment information sessions or to enrolled students by the teacher. Upon completion, students can find opportunities as beauty therapist.

Students must have completed Year 10 (or equivalent). They must have proficiency in English with academic IELTS score of 6.0 or TOEFL (iBT) score of 68 or Certificate 3 in English for Further Study at TAFE NSW or equivalent.
