This program has been designed to develop the first line management skills of those working in the beauty industry. It applies to those who are coordinating or managing the services within a small beauty salon, or a section or department within a larger store. On successful completion of this course participants may have the opportunity to gain employment in the areas of massage therapist with elective two, aroma-therapist with elective two, consultant/representative for cosmetic companies, nail technician, make-up artist with elective one, Steiner cruise ship positions. The beauty specialist at this level would study units, including lash and brow treatments, facial treatments, make-up application, waxing, advanced facials, body treatments (including massage), skin biology, nutrition, anatomy and physiology, cosmetic chemistry and professional development units. The Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy is assessed through practical, written and oral assessments, case studies and assignments. Upon successful completion of this qualification students will be eligible for a WRB40105 Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students must be 18 years and over. They should have fulfilled English language requirements with IELTS score of 5.5 with a minimum score of 5.0 in each component, whilst students sitting the ACIT English test will need to be assessed with levels of 60 per cent for comprehension, written, reading and speaking tests.
