This course prepares post secondary students for further studies in Art and Design courses at Diploma and Degree level by providing a general grounding and opportunity to produce an entry level folio. This graphic design stream caters for those wishing to progress to further studies in graphic design, product or industrial design, interior design, illustration, multimedia or digital media. This course provides students with entry level skills required for further study in graphic arts and e Certificate IV in Design is seen as a valuable preparatory year for a wide variety of diploma and degree art and design programs. On successful completion of the course, students may gain credit transfer for some modules when undertaking further study. Folios produced by successful students undertaking this course can be used in applying for further studies in a variety of Art and Design Diploma and Degree programs.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students should have a good record at Year 11 level or the overseas equivalent and preferably some relevant work experience. They must satisfy English language proficiency level of IELTS 5.5, ISLPR 2+, TOEFL 197 (CB) or 46 (iBT), PTE Academic Score of 42 (no communicative skill score less than 42), Cambridge English: Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) of 47 or equivalent.
